Spring Gardening Starts Now | Master Gardener Plant Sale

Spring gardening season is here in Southeast Texas, and the Jefferson County Master Gardeners are ready to help you grow! On Saturday, March 7th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Master Gardeners are hosting a vegetable plant sale at the demonstration garden near Jack Brooks Regional Airport. Shoppers can choose from: 🌱 1,700+ tomato plants (15 varieties) 🌶 500+ pepper plants 🌿 15 varieties of herbs 🍆 Eggplants and more Master Gardener Paul Lemoine explains that many of the plants are specifically chosen for Southeast Texas’ hot, humid climate — including heirloom options and disease-resistant varieties. Experts will be on site to answer gardening questions, provide planting tips, and help you get your garden started the right way. Cash and cards accepted.
