Flying a Delta Kite CRAZY High with Camera & Crashing It

I took my 9' Levitation Delta out to the beach on Fire Island, NY because I needed to straighten out some of my kite line. I attached my GoPro camera to the kite line to take some Kite Aerial Video since the kite would be up super high (always check local regulations & get clearance if needed before flying a kite too high). I recently replaced the stock kite frame with new carbon fiber tubes from Sky Shark (P400) and was excited to see how the kite flew with the new lighter frame. I was very happy with how it flew and discovered that it was my error that caused the spreader to splinter as I mention in the video. I did not properly secure the ferrule in the P400 carbon fiber tube and probably used a ferrule that was too short. My name is Evan Reinheimer, I am a full time artist.
