On a warm October day, we met in Yerevan with the girls from Shushiki Band to record some of their arrangements of Armenian folk music. Enjoy! This is the sixth in a series of 8 songs we recorded with Shushiki band, so subscribe not to miss the next videos! Named after the Komitas piano piece, “Dance of Shushiki,” Shushiki Band plays traditional Armenian folk songs, transporting the listener to a rich and colorful environment of dialect. With their voices full of life, they transmit the breath of Armenian love and comedy songs.
