Hello, I hope you are fantastic Friday! I have used the thought "letting go" many times to maintain my sanity, I will speak on my experiences with it and share. I articulate my thoughts so much better when typing rather than speaking so I think this is worth a read. So I used to work at a grocery store, and often I would work my department with another co worker, he always had much wisdom to share. One day he spoke, "sometimes you should just let go". Those words stuck with me. Now this is a mental concept, when you let go of all your thoughts and attachment to experiences in the short term, and sort of in the long-term (I do not have much expereience with long-term applications but I'm getting there :)). So in the short-term, one can be overwhelmed by all sorts of external things, bills, family, etc. Now, when one does have a few seconds or even minutes of down time, I think they can highly benefit from letting it all go, eg. the bills, family etc. It helps a lot... Now here is the long-term version of letting go. When one develops well, they can take care of themselves and appropriately of those around them. When one keeps developing they can achieve this on auto pilot. Now when one lets go of desires, goals, duties etc. in the short-term, a break is given (ie. a mental break), now since auto piloting towards aspects that uplift your way of living, whenever you let go of any inhibiting thoughts, uncomfortable thoughts, self-doubting thoughts etc. You will end up doing the right thing. BUT be weary, sometimes the ego speaks for you and tells you want you want to hear, which is often in favour of comfort and maintaining a high image. Also, sometimes you need a break... so like eat a pizza or go on vacation, or sleep or something.
