This video shows the full build of a complete backyard deck makeover! The existing deck was in rough shape and didn't accommodate much entertainment space. We tore down the existing deck and built a new one in it's place with much more functionality and useable space. We added a pergola on top with a waterproof cover so they had a place to hang out and watch TV outside even when it's raining. The open portion of the deck was used as the dining space and we built an outdoor kitchen with a built in grill for the ultimate cooking space. The deck transitioned down to a lower deck that gives access to the rest of the yard and was the perfect spot for two hanging chairs.
