My Movies, books and thoughts in March. I apologize for becoming more incoherent as the video progresses. Long papers, the dismal weather and late hours took their toll. To clarify myself There seems to be a stigma that men and women cant be just friends. There is another stigma that men cannot be intimate and vulnerable with each other without it being gay. I believe both these stigmas are rooted in the fear of the potential for misinterpreted feelings or relationship. I think that we as a society have gained great acceptance of gay relationships (which is a wonderful thing) but perhaps we have lost the acceptance of intimate straight relationships. This is what i mean by love gained and love lost. I want men to be able to embrace and care deeply and openly for each other and this sort of male bond seems lost to us.
