One of the most surprising parts of my journey was being checked by the Taliban they were calm, respectful, and friendly, which made the experience very different from what many people might expect. I also visited a local mall in Herat, where I got to see modern life, meet locals, and experience the everyday lifestyle of people here. It was amazing to see how welcoming and kind everyone was throughout my journey.
