A 9-2 run midway through the first quarter saw the hosts take a 20-13 lead heading into the second. What followed was a back-and-forth affair, with the hosts taking a 40-29 advantage at halftime. Panathinaikos bounced back and turned the game into a thriller by outscoring the Reds 18-27 in the third quarter. Yet, Olympiacos kept its composure in crunch time despite the key absences of Thomas Walkup and Sasha Vezenkov as it swept its regular-season series over the Greens. Having gotten back to winning ways following a loss at Zalgiris last week, Georgios Bartzokas’s side improved its record to 19-10. Meanwhile, Panathinaikos suffered its fourth straight loss, dropping to 16-14. As many as 10 Olympiacos players got their names on the scoresheet, with Tyler Dorsey netting 13 points and Nikola Milutinov bagging 12. Kendrick Nunn scored a game-high 20 points, with Cedi Osman and Juancho Hernangomez pouring in 14 each.
