approximately 10 miles out of Carlisle and a few decades ago This small Village became my home for 18 months of my early life. My memories of it were of mainly concerned with missing what I left behind and not where i was. I didn't realise until this trip how much i needed to see it again and make peace with my experience of it. How beautiful it actually is and what great things lie in its surroundings. This video is dedicated foremost to my son ( who let me drag him along and created a really funny vlog in the process) and my 91 year old dad (who loved every minute) also a small corner of a churchyard in Dalston which reminded me that the people i met there, and the memories i hold of them, were an important part of my life, that i carry with me even after all this time.
