In this video, I explore three iconic spots in the Basque Country: Bermeo, Gernika, and Mundaka a perfect mix of culture, history, and unforgettable food. 🌊🍷🍴 We start the day in Bermeo, a colorful fishing town known for its deep maritime roots and traditional Basque charm. Next, we head inland to Gernika (Guernica) a town etched into the history books as the site of a devastating bombing during the Spanish Civil War, and immortalized in Picasso’s famous painting. Finally, we end the day with a relaxing meal in Mundaka, a small seaside village with big flavor. Famous among surfers for its legendary left-hand wave, Mundaka also delivers some of the best seafood in the region.
