Anyone excited for the recent Pokemon Sword and Shield news? I am! I was gonna release Gohan's Anger this week, but I felt like this is more appropriate for the time being to celebrate. Gohan will get his spotlight like he always done soon enough lol Oh yeah, a bit of a disclaimer: Yes I'm aware I didn't use the second half of the source. I felt like the first half fit perfectly with what I envisioned and I wanted to build up from that. I know it won't stop the purists from reeing at me, I've been doing this seriously for at least 5 years now lol but hey, whatcha gonna do. So this was another random idea that popped up into my head after listening through the DPPT soundtrack. Not exactly lo-fi more just old school style hip hop. I couldn't get this as loud as I wanted it to be without sacrificing some fidelity. but then I realize having the cleanest mix isn't the biggest priority with this genre. The gritty-ness helps with the style. You know those soundtracks that you don't appreciate much until much later, then you listen to it again and you're like "damn this hit different" It was basically that when I listened to this song a few days ago before making the remix. I went to work and this was the result, hope you guys enjoy. Tambourines are really cool, by the way like where have they been all my life whoa. They really add to the drums on this and I was wondering what those shaker-like sounds were in a lot of drum breaks for a while.
