The Sukhothai Bangkok is a hotel that belongs to both Global Hotel Alliance as well as Small Luxury Hotels groups. More on the smaller and more luxurious side is their Club Wing, which has limited rooms available. In this episode, we're showing you how their Club Premier Suite looks like. It's a spacious suite with dedicated dining and living areas, a big walkthrough wardrobe and a luxurious bathroom. It feels like Park Hyatt style of luxury. Their Club lounge has delicious afternoon tea with scones. Evening happy hour has a bit more limited choice than some other high-end lounges, but breakfast is very good - with mini buffet and a la carte options. Their swimming pool is one of the biggest in Bangkok. While the service was otherwise very good, then the gripe was that having booked the stay via SLH (Small Luxury Hotels) and having top tier elite status there, the staff seemed to be poorly trained on the SLH benefits side. Also when attempting to pay for the stay with SLH gift cards, the front desk was unaware of how to process that transaction.
