10 Simpsons Characters Inspired By Real People

Well, you wouldn’t be wrong there- but at the core of The Simpsons is their ever relatable and loveable characters, who despite being odd, eccentric and sometimes just plain weird still have a sense of reality at their core. It’s these characters that really flesh out the show and make it as loveable as it is. But there may be times when the characters are so relatable that you recognize them from somewhere, but you just can’t put your finger on where and who they remind you of. That’s because there are a number of characters in the show that are based on very real people- some rather loosely, some a little closer.
