The U.S. House of Representatives voted 219-211 to oppose President Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canadian goods. The resolution seeks to end the national emergency Trump declared in 2025 to justify imposing tariffs on a wide range of Canadian imports. Six Republicans broke with the White House to support the measure, marking a rare bipartisan challenge to the president’s trade actions toward Canada.
