Suggested by: ‪@cg03studios73‬ CINAR, later becoming Cookie Jar Group/Entertainment, was a media production and distribution company. The company was first established in 1976 as CINAR Films Inc, being established in New York, before they moved the headquarters to Montreal as living in New York was expensive. CINAR is famously known for the 2000 CINAR Scandal, the company would later be bought by a group ran by Michael Hirst, renaming it to Cookie Jar, before being bought by DHX Media/WildBrain, and being merged into DHX in 2014.
