We Drove Our Scania 2,500 Miles Across America

This video kicks off an incredible 2,500 mile road trip in our Scania V8 truck as we leave our shop in Jamestown, Tennessee and head west toward Las Vegas, Nevada. Joining us for the journey is our good friend Ville from Finland, who flew over to the United States to experience what trucking in America is really like. While Ville drives trucks in Europe all the time, this trip gives him a chance to see the vast highways, mountains, and deserts that make trucking in the U.S. so unique. This road trip ended up being the longest trip we’ve ever taken in our Scania truck, and it proved to be one of the most comfortable long-distance drives we’ve ever experienced. Covering roughly 2,500 miles, we crossed multiple states and saw some incredible scenery along the way. One of the highlights of the trip was stopping in Salt Lake City, Utah to visit our friends at Industrial Injection, where we checked out some of the amazing diesel performance projects they have going on and sat down for a few meetings. From there we drove down to Richfield, Utah, where we toured their brand new machine shop facility and got an inside look at the work they’re doing. The video wraps up on the side of the road in the beautiful southern Utah desert, surrounded by mountains and canyons as we continue our drive toward Las Vegas. This trip was just the beginning though… because in the next video we’ll be taking this Scania truck into Las Vegas. And trust me… that video is going to be a fun one.
