What you'll need: 2 packs fresh strawberries 1 cups granulated sugar 1 lemon juice lasts for upto 1 month and upto 3 if refrigerated This recipe requires 2 packs of strawberries which is approximately 4 1/2 cups of firmly packed chunked strawberries. You may use frozen berries if you wish but thaw them first. You can also use blueberries, raspberries, blackberries or any combination thereof. Also, you cannot reduce the sugar in this recipe. It will not work. Since this is essentially a candy, it just doesn't work with less sugar. If you wish to use a candy thermometer, you can do so. You will need to cook this to 220*F. try this recipe you will love it!!!
