Exploring Gwadar in Balochistan | Old Town, Cricket and Abandoned Luxury Hotels 🇵🇰

Join me on my fourth day in Balochistan as we explore the coastal city of Gwadar. Gwadar and surrounding villages were actually part of Oman until the 50s when it was purchased by Pakistan. Thus, Gwadar's old town is speckled with Omani remnants of the past such as the old Omani fort and watchtower. From the old town we head to Gwadar's stunning cricket stadium (possibly Pakistan's most beautiful) and finally to the luxurious yet eerily empty Pearl Continental Hotel. Although at the point of filming this video it was peak tourist season in Balochistan, the hotel stands almost completely empty... We end the journey by trekking to Koh-e-Batil, which overlooks the entire city before heading to Ormara at night.
