■ TIBET CAMP, MUSTANG: Whilst us foreigners may look at Nepal and think it's a small homogenous country with one culture, language and ethnic group, that is not true at all. Nepal is instead comprised of many different ethnic groups often even their own distinct language. Some of these people have been where they live now for centuries like the Thakalis you see here in the 2nd part of the video in Marpha. Others like the Tibetans whose village I visit first, are more recent arrivals.
