Underrated Powerstrat? Fender Showmaster Blackout HH Atlantic Blue 1988/96 Pearly Gates (2004/05)

The Showmaster was introduced in 1998. So the Fender Dater System must be Not right that is was produced between 1988-96. I think it is from 2004/05. The initial Custom Shop Showmaster was a design supplied by John Suhr, a senior Master Builder during that era. It started out as a US version of the Contemporary Stratocaster and featured two Fender Texas Special pickups in the neck and middle positions, a Seymour Duncan '59 Jeff Beck Trembucker in the lead position, a white pearloid pickguard and a deluxe locking tremolo bridge. Later, after Suhr left, the Showmaster was turned into a back-routed, carved-top, and set neck design. This one is a Blackout HH Version in Atlantic Blue with Pearls Gates Humbucker Set. Very nice guitar with set neck, no dots in the fretboard and a wonderful lacquered metallic finish. It has a Fender Locking Tuner system that locks with a screw on the front of the headstock. These guitars unfortunately discontinued. But I like it! What do you think?
