Sonic 3 A.I.R: Sonic CD Edition is a big collection of mods that try and resemble the Sega CD original version of Sonic CD, made by various creators. #sonic3air #sonic3airmods The main features here are Accurate Sonic CD Sprites & Metal Sonic - Death Egg Zone 2 (Custom Boss). First is Accurate Sonic S1/CD Sprites. This mod replaces the looks of Sonic to match how he looked in Sonic 1 and Sonic CD. All sprites are replaced with new sprites by the creator, panoramhusky, to cover Sonic 3 exclusive sprites (except in the case of the "Sonic 3 Complete" option, those are made by the S3C team). There are various sprite and palette options available to choose from. - Second is Metal Sonic - Custom Boss. Featured as an entry from the 2024 Sonic Hacking Contest, This mod adds Metal Sonic as a boss fight in Death Egg Zone Act 2, instead of Death Ball.
