Although Discharge in my opinion is the main influence of the punk sub-genre "D-Beat" it if often mistaken that all their songs are played with that beat. However, in reality there aren't vary many songs that they played this on. The songs were so powerful and different at their time that this is why it became very well known. What I did is play the song the original way, but I decided to add my take on it by adding D-Beat to it which you will see is when I use the crash cymbal. (thats not what makes it D-Beat) but that is how you will see the difference in sound by bass drum as well. Discharge is a Hardcore Punk band from England that formed in 1977 with Tezz Roberts, Tony Roberts "Bones" & Roy Wainwright "Rainy" they are one of the biggest bangles that helped influence punk & metal bands around the world.
