A minor girl from Panchkula's elite sector 6 was raped Monday night by close friends of her brother. The two boys who are pursuing their graduation courses have been arrested. Sitting in a police vehicle these two boys have put a bad name to the word friendship. Driving an Alto car Sahil along with his friend Marshall, both pursuing their graduation courses reached the residence of a close friend of theirs and invited his sister, a student of class 10 for a drive. They then drove to a deserted road that leads to Morni Hills near Panchkula and then allegedly forced the girl to down several drinks and then raped her in turns. Later they dropped her back at her residence in a drunken disheveled condition. On seeing the condition of the girl her father rushed out and noted the car's number and took the girl to get her medically examined. ON confirmation of rape a police case was registered and on the basis of the car's number the two boys were tracked down and arrested. They were presented at a Panchkula court today and sent on two days police remand. One of the students is pursuing an engineering course at a Baddi, Himachal Pradesh institute while the other one is studying at Chandigarh. Both are said to be from influential families.
