Daisy Parris invites us to Clouds for Breakfast, their first solo exhibition in Canada. After 16 months in the making, the show brings together a powerful selection of large-scale abstract paintings that explore emotional intensity, transformation, and the sensory weight of weather. Daisy shares insights into their process—from spontaneous gestures using a spoon to layering scraps of canvas and experimenting with saturated color. Each painting reveals personal narratives and physical textures, embracing chaos, tenderness, and vulnerability through mark-making and material.
