Ho Chi Minh City or Sai Gon is the largest city of Vietnam, it's also known "Pearl of the Far East". Today, we will share the Ho Chi Minh City 01 day tour. 08:30am - 11ham: 1. Cu Chi Tunnels Tour by Bus. This is an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command center. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for lots of years. We should visit Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Monument to understand why Vietnam defeated the US. 01hpm-02hpm: 2. Reunification Hall: This place was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam from 1960 to Apr 1975. We will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level. 3. Hung Kings Monument in Tao Dan Park. 4. War Remnants Museum: This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war. 5. PHO at Phở Lệ. Pho is so famous and a specialty of Vietnam. Nowadays, Pho presences in 06 countries in the world (Hong Kong, Autralia, South Korea, Brazil, Ameria, United Kingdom). 6. Notre Dame Cathedral: Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s. 7. General Post Office: Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. 8. Dinner at Bui Central with traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
