All-in-One Miter & Table Saw Workbench | Garage Makeover— Part One

This is part one of building an all-in-one workbench with recessed space for both a miter saw and a table saw. I’m working in a small garage, so the goal is to keep everything on one mobile bench that stays functional without constant setup and teardown. This first part focuses on layout, framing, and figuring out what does and doesn’t work. Not everything went as planned. I made a few mistakes, had to step back, and rethink the approach before moving forward. That process is part of the build, and I wanted to show it honestly instead of rushing to a finished result. The bench isn’t usable yet, but it’s moving in the right direction. Part two will pick up where this leaves off and focus on dialing in the top and getting the saws set correctly.
