In this episode of Urban Exploring, I will be taking you for tour through this extremely decayed and dangerous ABANDONED 1970's home that once was owned and lived in by an RCMP officer. This unusual home was built sometime in the early 1970's (1971-1973) and has sat abandoned now since some time in 2016. Located on a beautiful 1.3 acre property in an estate neighborhood of the city, this home was built on property which by today's standards is considered prime real estate. Inside the home is quite strange. The house has one of the most unusual layouts I've ever seen, spanning across 2 floors and a walkout basement. Much of the house had remained untouched over the years, aside from some minor renovations to the kitchen and the bathrooms. The house features original banisters and railings, a very open concept main floor where the kitchen, family room and offices are all blended into one, and an interesting winding upstairs layout that features 4 bedrooms, an office area, and a fairly large bathroom. The basement seemed to be used as a business at one point, as it is setup as a massive storage room with shelving and tons of items left behind. Whoever lived here last ended up owing over $220,000 in taxes and penalties and was forced to leave, leaving all their belongings behind. Literally everything is left throughout the house, including an air hockey table, couches, kids toys, clothes and so much more, it's literally unbelievable. Join me on this adventure as we explore this decayed and creepy home! Thanks to @BrandonAbandoned for the location!
