Hello, Everyone! I'm currently a doctoral candidate at Regent University, and I'm reaching out to invite you to be a part of an exciting research project. I'm delving into the vital issue of burnout among college faculty and staff, especially in the context of today's swiftly evolving higher education landscape. While past studies have addressed burnout in academia, my research aims to provide a fresh, contemporary perspective that captures the recent changes on college campuses. Your insights and experiences are invaluable to this study, and I want to assure you that all responses will be kept anonymous. I would greatly appreciate your participation. The World Health Organization recognized burnout as an occupational phenomenon in the 11th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11). This acknowledgment underscores the global significance of burnout, yet it has not been classified as a medical condition. The WHO defines burnout by three key dimensions: Feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion Increased mental distance from one's job Reduced professional efficacy Moreover previous researchers have categorized burnout into physical, emotional and behavioral signs and symptoms. These encompass a wide range of manifestations, including physical fatigue, emotional distress, and behavioral changes such as Procrastination Withdrawal from responsibilities Thank you for your time and contribution!
