Xeogt - Protection Warrior Pvp Mid 2006

This is a video I made to display the viability of a protection oriented pvp build for warriors just before the summer of 2006, when it was contested that anything other than arms or fury was viable. My gear is not protection oriented, but rather high health, and high damage. The high amount of health was purposeful, as many classes relied on wasting their mana or cooldowns recklessly to burst warriors. The protection build therefore sought to exploit the reckless and poor play of my opponents, rather than being strong on its own. Some of the strengths of the build that are masterfully used by me in the video are; the magic dispel on shieldslam, which removes buffs like innervate and power word: shield; the lack of deep wounds that allows for fearbombing; the ability to silence with a defensive stance interrupt and finally the concussive blow crowdcontrol, adding an edge against many classes that arms or fury didn't have.
