I will be going over seasonal clean up, lube, grease and maintenance steps for your V2 gearbox AEG Airsoft replica. This is the last step in the video series. This airsoft rifle has served me since 2014, and was my first. It was also the platform I learned to tech on. Needless to say, it has taken a beating over the years, but still performs great with regular care. The Spec’s…: King Arms M4A1 Tinley 35000 motor (getting about 25 RPS) Modify 7mm Bearings (when I feel like shimming the gun again, I will change to bushings… one day) ASG 125 Spring (it’s the Orange one in case you have mixed yours up) – SHS 18:1 Gears - SHS Polymer , w/ Full Metal Rack, Skeletonized Piston. Additional teeth are ground down to ensure sector gear pickup after AOE adjustment. Lonex POM Ventilated Piston head w/ Lonex hollow O-ring ASG Cylinder Head c/w additional Sorbo for AOE and Noise Dampening SHS Nozzle for M4 - Laylax Stainless Steel Ported Cylinder Modify Anti Reversal Latch. This anti-reversal latch has a flat head key in the top allowing you to release tension prior to opening the gearbox. The latch also stands up by itself with all gears and spring installed (one less issue for closing the gearbox shell!) PTS Enhanced Polymer Sliding Stock with a ground channel slot in the side of the buffer tube Madbullk Noveske 10 “ free float hand guard - Madbull Silencer Magpull MS3 Sling - 4000 mah external battery for charging the Runcam 2 4k mounted with 1” a pair of scope rings PTS Fortis Shift CNC Aluminum Vertical Foregrip. I used it like the short version, but I wanted the long version incase I needed to grab the vertical grip. Angel custom swift charging handle King Arms Upper and Lower receiver w/ Punisher engraving (the receivers are still by King Arms, but they are not are the original ones!) Prometheus 6.03 I.D. Tight Bore Barrel Modify (Soft) bucking w/ Flat Hop in the stock King Arms Hop-up unit NEW: Gate Titan Advanced Mosfet NEW: Gate Vector Adjustable Trigger (built for Titan) Eight years later and the only ‘original’ parts left on this gun are: the gear box shell, outer barrel, buffer tube screw and washer, and the ball bearing spring guide. Shooting at the Chrono: 1.51j on 0.30 g BB’s [405 to 410 FPS on 0.20g BB's] (Field limit: 1.64 J for outdoor season, giving a healthy buffer).
