Pranked a guy who tried to trap me in a parcel scam.. These #fedexscams are increasing day by day, and everyone needs to be vigilant. Here’s how it goes: You get a call from an unknown number, and the IVRS says your parcel is blocked and asks you to press 1 to continue. Once you press 1, you’re connected to a guy who says your parcel is blocked and someone is misusing your identity. He claims customs have seized a parcel with your name containing laptops, SIM cards, and drugs. He continues, saying he can help you by giving clearance but demands money. After you pay a certain amount, he keeps calling, asking for more money in the name of clearance and other things, threatening you’ll be arrested by the government if you don’t pay.
