HMS Scylla is/was a Royal Navy Leander Class frigate which was scuttled in Whitsand Bay in 2004 as an artificial reef near the wreck of the Liberty ship SS James Eagan Layne. Here, Dom Robinson (@DeepWreckDiver) and myself (Bryan Boldt) provide a look at what it is like to do a swim through of the ship today. Both Don and I are using rebreathers, so there is a distinct lack of bubbles and associated noise more typical of open circuit scuba regulators. While the 360 video plays, try viewing it in full screen mode and change the view perspective by dragging the picture in any direction. Also zoom in/out by using a mouse scroll wheel or however you have your system configured to do likewise. Feel free to pause the video and pan the view around to see the entire ecosystem while we slowly swim through the wreck. Unfortunately, YouTube seems to limit the amount of zoom available, unlike with the Insta360 player we can pull way back all the way to a "Tiny Planet" aspect. Nonetheless, try this sample and tell us what you think of the format. Gear: Insta360 X5, https://www.insta360.com/sal/x5?utm_t... Insta360 Ace Pro 2, https://www.insta360.com/sal/ace-pro-...
