🧪 Profits Not Allowed (No Shop Challenge) – Episode 1: First Contract Prep (Bandages) Welcome to Episode 1 of my Alchemy Factory challenge run where profits are not allowed — I’m playing with NO SHOP SALES (no selling to customers), so the entire early game is about building a clean factory that can survive off contracts and automation. In this episode, the goal is simple: work toward the very first contract: Bandages — and set up the production chain in a way that won’t collapse later when the game starts demanding higher-volume deliveries. ✅ Bandage production chain (the real early-game wall): Bandages are crafted in an Assembler using Linen + Healing Potions (2 Healing Potions per Bandage). We also talk about why contracts matter, and how contract progression ties into unlocking future delivery items (Bandages → Gloom Spores → Pocket Watches → Fertile Catalysts → Silver Amulets → Moonlit Soap). And yes — if you’re doing contracts, it’s worth understanding that missing early offers has caused issues for some players.
