Another full fan-made project release! This one only took until 2023 because I prioritized other projects, which ended up resulting in the pause of "Super Mario Bros. Prototype Remix", better known as "Super Mario Bros. Proto Remix". Some people have already played the early access version, but this is the definitive version as it should be. (Version with full experience). The good thing about the early access version is that those who play it will also help discover softlocks and bugs in the game. Anyway, Super Mario Bros. Proto Remix arrived in a very important year for the "Super Mario Bros." series, as it is the year that the game will turn 40! And to celebrate, we have this game as one of the special projects of "Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary Specials". This fan game portrays the first Super Mario Bros. with all the ideas, concepts and things that were not approved in the final version of the game, all based on official information. As for what is not official, it is just an expansion of the ideas. Credits to the website TCRF (The Cutting Room Floor) for storing photos of the concepts, and information about the production of Super Mario Bros. in its development phase (beta/prototype).
