India’s Dalit community have faced systemic persecution by so-called upper-caste Hindus for ages. Meanwhile, Kerala Congress leader VD Satheesan has written letter to PM Modi over alleged wave of attacks against minority groups and blamed government for not arresting culprits amid gross HRVs across the country. On dismal condition of oppressed minorities in India, Journalist Pieter Friedrich is observing seven-days hunger strike since 06 Jan for the persecuted community of India.
