We are witnessing one of the largest typhoons in history, similar in size to STY Yoyong (Nanmadol) of Dec 02, 2004, and STY SENING (Joan) of Oct 13, 1970. Typhoon UWAN (Fung-wong) is forecast to pass very close to Northern Bicol (Cam Norte-Partido District-Catanduanes) tomorrow morning through the afternoon, before making landfall over Aurora late tomorrow evening (Nov 09). It will then traverse Northern and Central Luzon late tomorrow evening through Monday morning. Please take all necessary precautions and prepare for the passage of this intense system.
