SUPER AMAZING: ART OF THE de la TORRE BROTHERS

The show ends Jan 5, 2025 at the Corning Museum of Glass. Its worth the drive to upstate New York. I was super impressed with this show and the whole museum which is world class. The de la Torre Brothers were originally from Mexico, now live in USA and the exhibit contains works made over three decades. It' super cool. Lot's of 3d optical stuff. I'm not a huge fan of blown glass, but was 'Blown Away' no pun intended, by this art exhibit. The Corning Museum of Glass is huge, super cool, lots to see, and not at all what I expected. I've had the good fortune of visiting some of the top museums in the world (London, Paris, Athens, and so forth) and I'd put this museum up there. It's not in a big city but it's a big city type of great museum. The gift shop is amazing and the whole place is so well organized and managed. A true delight to visit.
