ScentXplore 2022

ScentXplore was an amazing experience. I was able to learn about brands and try brands I never tried before. It was awesome to meet some of the creators of these brands and meet people that also share an interest in perfume/fragrance. I want to highlight some of my favorites. • Unique’e - A luxury niche perfume house owned by husband and wife. I was able to meet them and they were so nice and informative. I fell in love with Mashumaro, which is Japanese for marshmallow. The notes include burned marshmallow, caramel, vanilla, cashmere woods, Turkish rose. I also really liked Chocolate Makes Me Happy which has notes of dark chocolate, cacoa, grapefruit, mandarin, lavender, ginger, cinnamon, vetiver, sandalwood, coffee, caramel, musk, & amber. • Moresque Contessa - Contessa is a part of Moresque Art Collection. It is described as a floral musk. The notes include pink pepper, nutmeg, bergamot, star anise, rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, ambroxan, tonka bean, vanilla, & musk. • M.Micallef Ylang In Gold - With notes of geranium, citrus, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, coconut, & vanilla. • Milano Fragranze Panettone - This is Christmas in a bottle. It has notes of bitter orange, mandarin, ginger, carrot seeds, rum, & vanilla. • Kierin NYC - I loved this brand & the people working with the brand. The owner was so personable and kind. The fragrances are cruelty-free, toxin-free, & vegan friendly. She explained to me how she works with a different artists to create each fragrance. I really liked Sunday Brunch which is bright cheerful citrus & Nitro Nior which is an intoxicating floral gourmand. My favorite was Scent X One which was actually created for ScentXplore! It has notes of apple, cinnamon, & rum. It was love at first sniff. • Precious Liquid - The person representing the brand was so fun & nice. My favorite was Sweet Tonka. It was love at first sniff & I think it will be my new favorite tonka fragrance once I get my hands on a bottle. Sweet Tonka is actually a new release for the event. I also tried Iced Juniper which was nice. There was a drink available called A Flower Drop, inspired by Ice Juniper which I thought was cool.
