Learn all about foodwebs and food chains. Each of these show how energy is transfered in an ecosystem. All living things require energy. There are two popular models that illustrate the flow of energy in an ecosystem, a food web and a food chain. Within these models you have trophic levels. As you move up in trophic levels roughly 90 percent of the energy is lost as heat. In this video I cover level 1 producers,level 2 primary consumers,level 3, secondary consumers, level 4 teritiary consumers, and level 5 apex predators.
