Making My First Hidden Tang Knife- FILE KNIFE

In in effort to expand my horizons I decided to try my hand at making a hidden tang knife from an old broken file I had laying around. it's always important to try new things in any artistic pursuit and I'm happy to bring you along through my journey! In my latest adventure of knife making with no forge (I'm still working on making one, I'll have it soon guys!) I decided to tackle making a big ol' meat cleaver (butcher's knife) to add to my kitchen arsenal. Using 1095 steel, a MAP gas torch, an angle grinder, belt sander, and a whole lot of patience I was able to make a stock removal blade that I'll be proud to use the rest of my life.
