Lakes Entrance - Fishermen's Co-op
Lakes Entrance is known as a seafood capital thanks to the large number of fishing trawlers in the area. There are many restaurants in the area where you can sample some of the delicious seafood or like TV host, Brooke Hanson from Discover Downunder you can go fishing. Brooke receives some tips from 5th generation fisherman Arthur Allen from Lakes Entrance Fishermen's Co-op. There are many different varieties of fish in the area such as trevally, golden eye mullet and some giant tailor. Unfortunately Brooke has no luck fishing on the jetty however Arthur points her in the right direction to Fishermen's Own Omega3, which is a local seafood and fish n chips store. Tim Smith heads to Ferryman's Seafood Cafe to order the best seafood plater you will find anywhere and he's loving it.
