Tonight it's second bottom versus second top, as Dunfermline host Livingston. He may well have been appointed new manager last week, but is the honeymoon period already over for Neil Lennon? An opening 3-0 defeat to Ayr United on Saturday, and marquee signing Victor Wanyama sent off after only 20 minutes on his debut—the new boss will be left in no doubt about the size of the task he has undertaken here. Interestingly, Dunfermline haven't had a home game since the 1st of March. That was a 2-1 win against Greenock Morton. Now Lennon will be looking to build on that and not the three away defeats that came after it in the month of March. They’ll be buoyed by the fact, though, that knowing a win tonight, and they can leapfrog Hamilton into eighth in the Scottish Championship as they strive to maintain their status in the division. Standing in their way tonight—David Martindale’s Livingston—and you'd be foolish to write this side off. Just when it looked like Falkirk were cantering towards the Championship title and had promotion to the Premiership sewn up, there was certainly a lion put in amongst the pigeons. A 1-0 win at Almondvale cut that gap at the top to eight points, and they know that a win tonight could see it reduced to five, setting up a bumper end to this Championship season. Followed that up with an impressive 5-0 win over Queen’s Park in the SPFL Trust Trophy final, and it looked as though David Martindale’s side may just be hitting form at the peak time of the season. You can get the visitors tonight—short price favourites at 11/10. Will the new Lennon revolution kick into gear? Well, that's 11/4 for the home win. I’ll be keeping you up to date across all of PLZ Soccer’s social media channels with halftime and fulltime updates, as well as reaction from both managers as Dunfermline take on Livingston. #scottishfootball #dunfermline #livingston
