After going from zero offers out of high school to walking on at the University of Michigan, navigating the college football transfer portal, becoming a starter, and earning NFL interest, I thought I had done everything right. I trained for the NFL Draft, spoke with scouts, chased every opportunity, and prepared to take the next step toward playing professional football. Then I got cut.
