Yokai Predator [tribute] Watch You Break

If there's a fight I always wanted to see from Predator franchise is the Yautja vs Ninjas and Samurais, and KOK gave just that and it did not disappoint, hands down my favorite segment of the film, it was well animated, there was no dialogue there but a lot was said, it has great story and character, including the Predator that went on a hunt there, Yokai. Yoaki is my favorite Yautja from this film, justa straight badass. His design is awesome amd his equipment is rich. He got wrist swords on one hand, a cannon that shows small bombs on the other, a spiked chain that pierce and saw its victims, a spear where its blade can open, anyone who was unfortunate enough to face him died in one of a lot of ways. Unlike Grendal who came with one weapon and no armor Yokai had one helluva arsenal. Yokai's role in story is also to represent a character for the protagonist Kenji, but not a dark version of him but rather someone he knew and never properly faced. Kenji and Kiyoshi were brothers and they spent their early childhood pretty well together, no conflicts just training and playing together, but their tyrannical father didn't care about that, he made them face each other in a fight with real sharp swords so he will decide who will be his heir, Kenji refused to fight but Kiyoshi fought and wounded him. Kenji was left traumatized and betrayed by his brother and he ran away, and neither Kiyoshi or their father went looking for him. After their father passed away Kenji decided to sneak into the palace to face Kiyoshi again (not realizing Yokai was watching them), he defeated him but felt no peace, because turns out Kenji didn't need to face his brother, he needed to face his father who tore them apart. That's what Yokai is, he is a representation of Kenji's and Kiyoshi's father, and Kenji couldn't face him alone even if he wanted to, although there was no room to rest there because Yokai was in hot pursuit. Kenji could barely get breathing room from Yokai, the Predator just killed the guards that were used to distracted him in seconds, he found Kenji no matter where he hid and he was chasing everywhere, hallways and rooftops alike until Kenji jumped into a river, showing how his father's sprirt still haunted him everywhere he went. Kiyoshi want to defeat his brother again bu he joined forces with Kenji to defeat Yokai, they can't defeat their father on their own, they have to do it together. The fought him and were saving each other from any killing blows, Kenji used Yokai's weapon against him and knocked him out, and later both brothers delievered the fatal blow, killing Yokai and defeating their father for good. The victory didn't came without a cost, Yokai stabbed Kiyoshi in the gut earlier in the their fight and he eventually succumbed to his wound, but not before making peace with him brother. Yokai is another awesome Yautja. Even since Predators where Falconer fought the Japanese Yakuza Hanzo I always wanted to see more fights between Yautja and Ninjas and Samurais, and I'm glad we got more of that. That it was animated and not limited by the live-action boundries made it even better. This tribute was easy to make. Months ago I thought on using this song on Berserker Predator but I wanted something heavier for him so I changed it, glad I could use it Yokai.
