JOOLA 3S Dual Pickleball Paddle Review Just got the new Joola 3S Dual Paddles, they look amazing! Like everyone else loved the original Joola 3 paddles, never carried the 3S paddles because they were not USAP certified, glad to see Jool has released the 3S line as a Dual certified paddle for both USAP and UPA-A. The following is a high-level review, played with them today for a few hours and absolutely impressed. The original 3S surfaces have been replaced with the Pro IV surface allowing it to be USAP certified, other than that I am told they have the same 3S construction. Have to say, they play very well, light in the hand, a lower swing weight that their Pro IV cousin’s. I had no issues controlling the paddles, they are fast, have sufficient pop, power and shot shaping. The $199.95 list price is also amazing that’s $80 less than the Pro IV. According to Joola the Pro IV will have more durability due to the honeycomb design but time will tell. Let’s get into the details and will summarize at the end. Control: Improved over the original 3S, but still not as refined as higher-end Pro IV paddles. Sweet Spot: Slightly smaller than Pro IV; some dead spots near the handle. Break-In Period: Requires a few sessions to reach optimal performance. Pros: Budget-friendly alternative to Pro IV. Dual certification expands tournament eligibility. Fresh cosmetics and improved texture. Softer than the Pro IV Great for intermediate players seeking performance without premium pricing. Cons: Slightly less consistent across the paddle face. Final Verdict I am a Joola 3S Dual and Pro IV fan, don’t think you will be disappointed with either. I would say to choose the JOOLA 3S Dual if you're an intermediate player looking for a high-performance paddle at a more affordable price, with solid power and spin.
