First fall of the season, yay! I overestimated the room I had around one of the rocks and caught an edge on one. No major damage to the skis at least. That traverse is always kinda sketchy, especially with the oversized moguls near the beginning! Anyways, still a wonderful run, mostly for the views though. It's a decent way out before you get to Elk Meadows, and I was really only there for the trees so you could easily just turn off the traverse earlier for some decent bowl terrain instead. Advice: Besides the rocks, the traverse takes several steps down at certain points so you can still get to the far-out terrain on this side of the bowl without having to stick to the top line all the way over. Overall Difficulty: 4/10 Relative Difficulty (MG Traverse, Diamond): 2/10 Relative Difficulty (Elk Meadows, Blue): 5/10 Accessibility Rating: 3/10 (Entrance is in an awkward spot regardless of lift, and signage could be better) Open Trail Index: N/A (No idea, probably opens takes a bit to fill in) Enjoyment Rating: 5/10 (The view made up for somewhat rough conditions)
