15-year-old students in Singapore have topped a 2022 global study in Reading, Mathematics and Science. Singapore leapfrogged China from second place in the three categories, based on the previous study. 81 regions took part in the study coordinated by the Organization for Economic Co-operation Development (OECD). Singapore said the strong showing affirms the resilience of its education system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
