Using a build similar to one that was shown in a discord server I'm in. Decided it would be cool to try and fight fishron premech after making my own modifications to the build. After a few more attempts off camera I got myself the Tsunami, which should crush the rest of hardmode. Class is ranger. Setup includes: Crystal Assassin armor (obtained from Queen Slime, buffs damage, critical hit chance, movement speed, and most importantly offers a dash ability that's far better than shield of cthulhu) Daedalus Stormbow (reforged to Demonic because RNG hates me, obtained from Hallowed Mimics) with Ichor Arrows (aren't subject to the stormbow nerf, which only applies to crowd control arrows like holy and jester arrows). Fairy Wings + Amphibian Boots (Flame Wings are the best available premech, but Fairy Wings are far easier to get. Amphibian Boots increase flight speed and compensate for their inferiority to Flame Wings.) Ranger Emblem + Magic Quiver (for additional ranged damage. Ichor Arrows already move faster compared to other arrows, so the magic quiver only buffs damage. Archery Potion was used as well for even more damage. Obtained from Wall of Flesh and Skeleton Archers respectively) Brain of Confusion + Cross Necklace (for survivability. BoC is a great accessory now, and it stacks with Cross Necklace for extra i-frames). You could replace the necklace with a Molten Quiver (or Stalker's Quiver if playing corruption/drunk world) for even more damage. Obtained from Brain of Cthulhu in expert and master mode and Gold Mimics respectively All accessories reforged to Menacing for a total of 24% damage from prefixes alone. Used Archery, Regeneration, Ironskin, and Endurance Potion. I used an Apple Pie for tier 3 well fed, but I accidentally cancelled it mid-fight when trying to get rid of my shark pet which I kept mistaking for one of duke's bubbles. If you're playing corruption you can also throw in a Wrath Potion for more damage (and if you are playing a drunk world, you can use both Ichor Arrows and a Wrath Potion).
