We’re finally looking at the Marvel Legends Cyclops & Jean Grey X-Men ’97 2-Pack featuring their classic late 70s / early 80s costumes that defined an era of X-Men comics (and showed up in the final episodes of Season 1 of X-Men ’97). This is one of those sets I’ve been waiting on for a long time. Scott Summers being emotionally repressed in red tighties? Jean Grey serving omega-level telepathy and perfect hair? Yes, please. 00:00 - Introduction 01:06 - Intro Song 01:29 - Figures Overview / Jean and Scott History 03:18 - Unboxing and Accessories 03:59 - Previous Release Comparisons 04:27 - Previous Release Headswaps 05:06 - Cyclops Headswapping Fun 06:37 - Jean Grey Headswapping Bonanza 08:38 - Rating The Figures 09:17 - Figure Shelf Placement 09:47 - Figuring It All Out Cyclops and Jean are at the heart of X-Men history going back to the first issue. This set feels like a celebration of that legacy… or at least a very expensive way to emotionally process it for me. This review is part of my ongoing Figure It Out, Tatum series where I look at Marvel Legends through the lens of toy history, character evolution, and my ongoing attempt to build the most emotionally stable X-Men shelves possible while trying to figure it all out. 🧩 About This Channel Figure It Out Tatum is all about Marvel Legends reviews, X-Men comics, display ideas and the joy (and chaos) of collecting. If you’re into mutants, superheroes, nostalgia and carefully rearranging shelves at midnight, you’re in the right place. If you enjoyed the video, feel free to like, comment or subscribe. It really helps the channel grow, and I’d love to connect with more people who love Marvel Legends, X-Men and collecting. Let me know which figure you’d like me to try and figure out next! 🦖 Follow Me for More Figure Content TikTok / @figureitouttatum Instagram / @figureitouttatum Editing / Filming: All done by me because I am a one-mutant production team… for now.
