For 6 years, this stray cat has been part of my life here in Istanbul. No matter how much time passes, one thing never changes: the way she greets me every single time. This isn’t about food. It’s about trust, routine, and a bond built slowly over the years. From the very first days to now, she still recognizes me, comes runnin', meowing, and shows affection in her own special way. You will probably ask why I still didn't take her in. The biggest reason is that she is a free cat. I know I call her a stray, but she is a free cat. She likes being outdoors a lot. Also, she doesn't get along with other cats. I have two cats already. If I ever move to a house or apartment with a garden, the first thing I will do is to take her. Also, I still take her to the vet for check-ups and shots. Next time I take her to the vet, I will film the process too.
